Cheney is a man with integrity who is respected by Republicans and Democrats. Cheney declared that his position as a member of the Bush administration will be that of an honest but quiet advisor. Cheney has stated in accepting his role as Republican vice president he wants to work with a presidential candidate who will work cross-partisan and to collaborate in a manner of respect and in a common goal. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th 1941) was the son Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been married to Richard Herbert Cheney for over 30 years. When he was 13 years old, Bruce accompanied his parents to Casper (in the state of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
